Jewellery making workshops

I also offer jewellery making workshops – whether you are a complete novice or want to learn new skills. There are currently 2 different workshops available:

Beginners Beading

In this class I will teach you the basics of making beaded jewellery as well as how to finish your jewellery using simple techniques. You will be introduced to the equipment needed for making simple necklaces, bracelets and earrings so that by the end of the session you will have made several pieces of jewellery and be well on your way to a new hobby. Workshops cost £25 each and run Mondays, Fridays and the occasional Saturday 10.00 am – 12.30pm. Cost includes all tuition, ends and findings and standard beading packs, other beads may be purchased separately on the day.

Intermediate Workshop

This class introduces you to further bead making techniques and follows on from our beginners classes or for those that know the basics and want to learn more. In this workshop you will learn how to make a lariat necklace using wrapped loops, a very useful technique to have under your belt which can be used for a variety of projects. The classes also cover making a flower choker using faux suede or ribbon. If there is time we can also cover further topics of your choice. Workshops cost £40 each and run Mondays, Fridays and the occasional Saturday 10.00 am – 12.30pm. Price includes materials, tuition and use of tools.
